Ridgeland, SC. Design & execute fireplace molds, decorative architectural elements including brackets, columns, pylons, trims, crowns, pilasters, railings, ornaments. Design & produce equipment including cutting hot wire machine for EPA complex shapes. Prepare casing for prefab casting forms. Utilize ACAD & AUTOCAD 2002 for design projects & Bobwire software for CNC programming. Manage custom designs & execution of architectural shapes inspired by European styles. Review building plans & estimate cost of architectural elements. Read shop drawings & blueprints. Review client requests, estimate project costs, & customize project based on client specifications. Reqs: Bachelor’s or foreign equiv. in Mechanical Eng. & 18 mo. exp. in job or 18 mo. exp. as a Chief Mechanic. Exp. which may have been obtained concurrently must include 6 mo. exp. in design & execution of architectural shapes for construction projects.
